PA-T grain augers are ideal transfer augers for dropside tipping trailers. The PA-T 458 transfers up to 25 t of grain per hour. It is ideal for turning your Delta-CAP, Tetra-CAP or Tetra-SPACE tipping trailer into a chaser bin. The auger is fitted directly on the grain chute and has a 4.15 m long (Ø 140 mm) transfer chute when unfolded laterally. It is driven by a hydraulic motor with low flow rate (20-40 l/min). It can therefore be used by any type of tractor (new or old).
The JOSKIN factories have some of the most modern paint lines in Europe. During the process, the material is first cleaned and degreased by shot blasting (projection of up to 2,500 kg of steel balls per minute). It is then primed with an Epoxy Ester primer and finished with a two-component paint. The process is completed by drying in an oven at 60°C. In this way, all JOSKIN parts and machines benefit from the best possible protection for a long service life. As standard, JOSKIN applies its traditional yellow and green colours. As an option, however, they can be replaced by those of your choice. The surface protection with industrial paints, such as those used by JOSKIN, is the best way to protect special steel that is not suitable for a heat treatment such as galvanisation.

JOSKIN offers to paint your tank in addition to the hot-dip galvanisation. Once galvanised, the tanker is sanded so that an Ester Epoxy primer can be sprayed onto the surface. Then, after a quick drying, the final coat of paint is applied. The advantage of a tank painted on the outside is purely aesthetic and does not extend the service life in any way compared to the standard galvanisation.
The JOSKIN Power Pack completes the DUAL-STORM assembly: in this case, the motors of both pumps are driven hydraulically via a hydraulic installation (160 l/min at 280 bar). A double-acting industrial valve isolates the tank from the centrifugal pump body. As standard, the DPA proportional flow system controls the STORM pump rpm.
JOSKIN also offers a range of pre-equipment in its programme, so that you can postpone the choice of rear spreading implements and various accessories, such as the filling arm or the dorsal boom, the hydraulic upper door, the tank mixer, etc. The series production and the spare parts book will always allow you to complete your machine in the future.

At JOSKIN, we mainly distinguish two types of slurry tankers: those without a standard pre-equipment for spreading implements (Alpina2 and Modulo2) and the others. The Modulo2 tankers can be equipped with optional rear buttresses to reinforce the back of the tank when using injectors or spreading booms and to serve as a support for a possible linkage. These buttresses not only include the metal frame, but also provide space for an immersion pipe to feed the rear implement, etc. By equipping your Modulo2 with this option, you make it ready for spreading slurry with a future spreading implement.

Tankers equipped as standard with this type of pre-equipment, such as VOLUMETRA, EUROLINER, etc., can easily be fitted with a linkage and a spreading implement at any time. This reinforced structure also allows the use of the heaviest and widest implements, depending on the configuration of the machine.

All JOSKIN tankers with a vacuum pump are fitted with a tank overpressure security set at + 1 bar. When the pressure inside the tank exceeds this value, the springs compress, the top lid of the valve lifts and the pressure drops rapidly. Once the pressure is reduced to below + 1 bar, the lid returns to its initial position thanks to the return springs.

Once the pressure is reduced to below + 1 bar, the lid returns to its initial position thanks to the return springs.
The vacuum system creates an atmospheric pressure difference between the inside of the tank and the surrounding air in order to fill or empty the tank. By creating a vacuum, the slurry can be sucked up. In the spreading phase, the principle is reversed: the tank is pressurised to expel the slurry. This means that there is no slurry flowing through the pump, only air.
The GARDA/JULIA system with a 100% mechanical drive combines a centrifugal pump and a vacuum pump (GARDA = Battioni & Pagani; JULIA = JUROP). The latter is used to fill the tank and empty it using a traditional spreading device, while the centrifugal one sends the slurry at a pressure of 6 bar to a spreading gun, the umbilical system of a spreading implement or a return to the tank (optional), all depending on the chosen configuration. A mechanical selector (hydraulic as an option) allows you to choose the desired pump.
The lobe system uses the mechanical action of two lobe rotors. Their rotation creates a vacuum on the suction side, which attracts the slurry into the pump body. The slurry is then carried through the lobes, along the rotor wall and discharged on the other side. These pumps do not take much place although they have a relatively high capacity. Their suction principle ensures them a maximum stability and eliminates almost all vibrations. Furthermore, they are all equipped as standard with an automatic stop system (optional on TETRALINER) and wear rings. These pumps have many advantages: high filling and emptying speed, possibility of pumping thicker slurry than with vacuum pumps, compatibility with long suction hoses or spreading implements, pumping performance maintained at a depth of more than 3.5 m, standard equipment for mixing and transfer from pit to pit, output pressure higher than 1 bar guaranteeing a good distribution with a high working width, etc.
The STORM system propels the slurry out of the pump by the centrifugal force created by the rotation of a screw around an eccentric pump body. The highest flow rates are achieved with this pumping mode. STORM pumps only work on the discharge side. The tank is therefore filled by gravity via an upper hydraulic door. At 750 rpm, a flow rate of 6,000 l is achieved, while at 1,000 rpm, it rises to 11,000 l. The pump is equipped with a stone trap and is driven by a universal joint shaft on the tractor power take-off. As an option, a 3-way valve can be fitted at the front of the tank to mix the contents in a closed circuit.
The spiral pump uses the mechanical action of an eccentric screw to suck in and discharge the slurry. The rotation of the screw inside the stator then creates a series of hermetic chambers that move along the suction/discharge axis. The advantage of spiral pumps is that they only suck up until the liquid reaches their height (not like vacuum models to the highest point in the tank). They then send it to the tank or spreading implement. Sucking up and discharging thick slurry through long suction pipes become then possible. Storage lagoons over 3.5 m deep are emptied within a reasonable time. A 3-way valve allows, besides the filling and emptying functions, the mixing in closed circuit and the transfer from one pit to another one. All spiral pumps on JOSKIN vehicles are ergonomically and compactly positioned at the lowest point of the machine for an easy access and maintenance. The screw inside the pump is continuously immersed in the liquid to be transferred to reduce the risk of cavitation.
The VACU-STORM system combines the advantages of a vacuum pump on the suction side and a STORM centrifugal pump on the discharge side. It is an ideal solution for users who are looking for an absolute flexibility. This process guarantees a high performance. The pumps are P.T.O. driven via a reinforced one-piece gearbox. The Jurop PN 130 - 13,000 l/min is integrated in the drawbar and is used for suction. The PN 155 and PNR 155 (+/- 15,200 l/min) are available as options. The vacuum system has the great advantage of being well adapted to all pumping situations (underground or off-ground pits, funnel, etc.). The STORM centrifugal pump (10,000 l/min) is designed to feed the rear implement. It allows spreading over large widths and with a high and constant flow rate. Ideally placed under the tank with the stone trap, it ensures a smooth and even feeding of the slurry, while reducing maintenance to a minimum. This design provides a safe and convenient access.
A good macerator is essential to make sure the injector works properly: some kinds of slurry (especially cattle slurry) are indeed full of fibres and foreign bodies. And a blocked opening means that the spreading pattern will be uneven and that the user will have to stop working. The solution is the patented JOSKIN SCALPER© system: a highly efficient macerator consisting of self-sharpening, freely rotating circular blades fitted on a blade holder driven by a hydraulic motor. The circular blades (pivoting on their own axis) and the off-centre arched elliptical holes of the blade holder inevitably cut all foreign bodies in the slurry. If the blades hit something too hard, the rotation direction of the SCALPER© is reversed by the “Switch-Matic” system (option) until the obstacle is chopped. In addition, an electric reverser with a control button is installed in the cab for all rear implements with automaton. The hydraulic circuit supplying the engine is isolated by a plug. A drain can be used to detect any defects in the hydraulic seal. The JOSKIN SCALPER© macerators are also sold separately to fit existing injectors. As standard, the macerator is fed via a 6" pipe and a 6" control valve.
A vacuum pump is equipped with either a mechanical or hydraulic change-over, which allows you to choose between "spreading" and "suction". The hydraulic control is essential when using a filling device such as a JUMBO arm, a dorsal boom, etc. The change-over is operated from the tractor cab to anticipate pumping or spreading.
It is also possible to equip your "Aquatrans (XL)" water bowser with a volumetric (non-self-priming) centrifugal filling pump with a transfer capacity of 1,000 l/min, which is driven by the tractor P.T.O. at 540 rpm. The assembly includes the pump, 6 m of Ø 60 mm hose and a Walterscheid cardan shaft.
In order to protect the upper body edge strip from shocks caused by the load or when loading the trailer, it is possible to opt for a PVC protection. It can cover 2 or 3 sides of the body and can easily be replaced in case of wear (bolted structure). When loading sticky materials, such as manure or compost, this protection can also be used as a scraper for the loading implement.
