Agricultural machines are used throughout the whole year and come most of the time in contact with aggressive substances (slurry, muck, chemical fertilizers, etc.) causing corrosion. In the everyday life, steel parts used to build buildings, posts, lamp posts and road signs also require a durable protection. And what is the best solution to protect them against corrosion? The answer is simple: the galvanization!
In many cases, hot-dip galvanization means top quality for a durable steel protection against corrosion. In comparison with the paint, the galvanization requires no or little maintenance, protects perfectly against bad weather and its coating is not damaged during the mechanical deformations. In case of peeling paint for example and if the machine has to be painting again, it is necessary to completely remove the existing coat before putting the new one. It lasts a while and involves a high cost. By choosing the galvanization, you therefore avoid these problems and save time and money.
The hot-dip galvanization happens at a temperature of 450°C. During this process, the steel is covered with three coatings made of a mix of steel and zinc, as well as with an outer coating of pure zinc. These three coatings are perfectly anchored in the protected surface unlike the paint that is just laid. As for the outer coating, it is less hard and therefore absorbs the shocks very well. The galvanization, if it is not exposed too much to corrosion, guarantees an efficient protection for at least 60 years!
The biggest pretreatment and galvanizing baths in the north of Poland:
2 m 70 wide, 9 m 80 long and 3 m 00 high – the baths allow to galvanize the biggest parts.
Computerized and controlled process
IT optimizes the treatment: the galvanization coating is therefore in compliance with the highest TÜV standards.
The automatic galvanizing line allows to carry out all steps of this process optimally, from the pretreatment until the galvanization, in a minimum of time that is perfectly mastered.
