The machine for parks and gardens

Easy machine for small farming concern

Two different models

Different configurations exist: if you want a softer machine, choose a BFR3S2 and if you want a more aggressive one, choose a BFR4S2.

Chassis designed to last

The quality of the high tensile steel and the galvanized finishing ensure a long lifespan.

Modular width

In order to increase the working width, the machine can be fitted with manually folding extensions.

Why and how maintaining pastures?

It is advised to make use of the meadow aerator in the beginning of the season and shortly after the end of grazing. Slightly and superficially harrowing in order to spread dung is still very profitable. Moreover, a rainy and humid weather will boost the efficiency of the machine The evening dew will be ideal for dry weather periods.
Be aware that using the meadow aerator in summer may delay the grass growth when working too aggressively. In case of a long period of drought, it is therefore better to postpone this work or to adjust the pressure of the machine to a minimum. On the contrary, when expecting a rain period in a short time, the meadow aerator can be used freely as it will enable the ground to benefit from the rain.
Chop the large remains before aerating. Otherwise, dung will stick to it and not be spread properly. That is why it is interesting to combine the aerator with the JOSKIN rotary pasture topper.
Before and after the winter, meadows are strongly worked on with the whole machine weight and, most important, with the tines allowing to air the ground and tear off dead grass.
It is important to regularly maintain the pastures in order to preserve the good grass. Using a meadow aerator and a pasture topper prevents weed from spreading to neighbouring grounds.

Advantages

Harrowing means :

  • aerating the ground properly as well as increasing nitrification to the detriment of acidification;
  • making the ground easy to penetrate for rain water and air;
  • destroying moss and other weed;
  • distributing farm manure and making it easier to decompose, thereby increasing its fertilizing value;
  • It is possible to directly bolt a seed drill on the chassis, or afterwards, to reseed meadows or to spread a selective herbicide.

Structure

Arable injectors make it possible to inject slurry deeply. They also loosen the ground.

They are fastened on a galvanized double-beam frame reinforced by radiant crosspieces. The main advantage of this assembly is to focus the strains of the implement on the tanker, which then transfers them to the tractor. The stress is therefore reduced and the tank is not subjected to distortion.

The basic frame is modular for all models: large width models are manufactured on the basis of the 2.80 m models with extensions.

The frame of the injectors wider than 3 m are fitted with a double-acting hydraulic folding system with anti-twisting safety stop. All these implements are fitted with a road lighting system.

3-point Linkage

The 3-point linkage allows to carry the machine during transport. While working, the chopper is only trailed by the 2 lower points, as the 3rd one is floating. In this way, the pasture toppers can follow the ground more easily.

Clean and ventilated cut

The grass is mowed, chopped and spread over the mowed surface in order to transform it into manure. Besides, this residue is well digested by young calves and dry cows.

Mowing with knives with belt-drive

Mowing leftovers for the grass to start growing in spring.

Rear-mounted rotary pasture topper, with possible side offset

To mow grass with small tractors. In order not to drive on grass before mowing it, JOSKIN proposes rear-mounted rotary pasture toppers with side offset (left and right) to combine with a front-mounted rotary pasture topper.

Front-mounted rotary pasture topper

The front-mounted rotary pasture topper allows not to drive on the grass to be mowed. Combining it with a single rear-mounted rotary pasture topper with right offset or two rear-mounted rotary pasture toppers with side offset allows to mow from 5 m to 10 m.

Self-retractable blades

The JOSKIN rotary pasture toppers are standard fitted with self-retractable blades.
