Libramont 2014, always a great success

On the occasion of its 80th edition, the agricultural fair of Libramont (Belgium) recorded its second highest total number of visitors, with 215.869 people on four days (from 25th to 28th July). It's worth noting that this event is one of the biggest outdoor agricultural fairs of Europe and that next to machines, breeding, cultivation, forestry, food production, etc. were also tackled. It is thus an outsanding showcase of the agricultural world, where 1.800 exhibitors were presenting their services on an area of 300.000sqm. On the stand of almost 2.000sqm of the JOSKIN company, a wide range of products and services could be discovered.

Innovations and new products, that were first selected by a jury, were presented during a demonstration in the Grand Ring of the Mecanic Show. The JOSKIN company has revealed its Section Pilot, a GPS section control managing the spreading tool of slurry tanker.

The sun was present, as well as personalities, like the new Walloon Minister-President Paul Magnette, the former Minister of Agriculture Benoît Lutgen, H.R.H. Prince Laurent of Belgium and Kris Peeters, to mention just a few.

It is clear that agricultural machines are becoming ever more important in order to meet farmers and contractors' demand, who are requesting an ever more higher output.

The Grass Day is a quadrennial event that attracted this year 7.542 professionals who came to discover the material in use. On 29th July, 115 harvesting machines proved their know-how and qualities.
