Since the different cattle contests were canceled because of the cattle fever, the French fair, famous in the livestock sector and known as "the European meeting place for professionals of the livestock sector", performed less well in comparison to previous editions. However, the organizers were able to propose an event meeting the expectations.

The Sommet de l'élevage, in Clermont-Ferrand, took place from 7th to 9th October with more than 1,300 exhibitors. The visitors were particularly interested by agricultural machinery and high-tech material. As every year, the JOSKIN RDS livestock trailer drew the attention of many people thanks to its "reclining" system, its resin floor and its fully galvanized body. On the JOSKIN, there were also a Modulo 11,000 tanker, a Tornado 3 5513 muck spreader and a Drakkar 6600 multi-purpose trailer (shorter version more suited to the livestock sector with smaller total dimensions and capacity).
