When spreading manure, it is important to apply the desired quantity in a precise and uniform way. An inadequate fertilization can lead to over or under dosing. The first one can cause a release of manure in surface and ground water, while the second one reduces the performance.
In order to work in good conditions, a correct tyres pressure and a good distribution of the load on the axles are essential.
All these aspects and many more others will be featured during this demonstration day. Concretely, muck spreaders will be presented in the morning and slurry spreaders in the afternoon. The machines for farmers will be first tested, and then those for contractors.
We will also discuss new innovative techniques, such as the NIRS system that can automatically measure the nitrogen and phosphate content.
Furthermore, you will also be able to discover two slurry tankers – a X-Trem 18500 fitted with a 8 m Solodisc and a Tetrax2 14000 fitted with a Multi-ACTION 6880 – and two muck spreaders – a Ferti-SPACE Horizon and a Tornado3 5513/14V.
