Darfield Mid Canterbury (New Zealand)Type of machine : Komfort2 with Solodisc
First start-up : 2013
Spreading material : whey, slurry
Place of spreading : meadows and arable grounds
The contractor Neil Baxter bought, at the beginning of this year, a JOSKIN Komfort2 tanker fitted with a Solodisc disc injector.
When he bought his machine, his attention was immediately attracted by the sense of detail that JOSKIN shows. He could choose from a wide range of options that were made available to him in order to get a slurry tanker that perfectly corresponds to the use he wants to make of it. He decided to fit his machine with a SOLODISC injector and a flow meter with ISOBUS control. They are used to inject whey on the agricultural grounds of the milk factory Fonterra (Dartfield) and hog manure for local farmers.
Thanks to the flow meter, Neil can know the quantities he spread on the parcels of each farmer. Furthermore, the local Environment Council is happy to see that the agricultural effluents are not spread in the air anymore but are now efficiently injected into the ground!
