tipping system

The telescopic rams fitted by JOSKIN have a chrome coating on the first two elements. This means that you can store your tipping trailers with the body tilted slightly backwards without the risk of rust on the hydraulic tipping ram.

The forward position of the hydraulic tipping ram reduces the stress on the body and ensures a maximum vehicle stability. Fitted as standard on all models in the JOSKIN range of tipping trailers, a safety valve, placed directly on the hydraulic tipping ram, prevents the body from unexpectedly falling down (e.g. when a hydraulic hose breaks).

The double oscillating frame on which the ram is mounted allows to absorb the torsions caused by the stresses when tipping and effectively protects the trailer from distortion.

The tipping stabiliser is a particularly useful tool when unloading sticky or ‘slow-moving' material that may remain in the body until the last element of the hydraulic tipping ram is extended. In such a case, it is not unusual to have a negative load on the eyelet. The tipping trailer then tends to lift the rear of the tractor. To avoid this, a suspension locking device called "tipping stabiliser" is the solution. For trailers with a bogie, two hydraulic rams installed vertically between the bogie table and the rear axle prevent the parabolic leaves from bending and stabilise the machine. For trailers with a Hydro-Tandem or Hydro-Tridem running gear, an oil blocking device is activated in the axle suspension system and prevents any shock absorbing effect when tipping.

The backward and spaced position of the hinges increases the stability and therefore the safety when unloading.
