Mark Garrick (Great Britain)
2016-10-20
Mark Garrick comes from Elgin, in the Moray Firth, an area of the Scottish Whiskey Trail – his father was by the way working at The Glenlivet. He recently sold a Euroliner 22500, i.e. the biggest tanker sold in the North of Scotland until now. For the story, it is going to spread water from a local brewery, not even from a distillery!
Mr Garrick, why did you chose to work with Joskin?
"When we have got the first contacts with the Joskin company, we directly knew that it was a real business opportunity in our area. There was no Joskin dealer in our area yet; the market was therefore free for quality and high tech machines."
What was your first impression of Joskin?
"When I came to visit the Joskin premises in Belgium, I was amazed! I had only one word to say: professionalism! The factory was clean, tidy and very well organized. One thing is for sure: with such a management, we can only expect good quality material and an excellent customer service."
Do people know the Joskin brand and machines in your area? What is their reputation?
"No, there are not known yet. However, I think that this first sale will boost their reputation and be a good publicity for the brand. I hope that in the future I will build a solid reputation by selling a lot of machines."
What are the main advantages of the Joskin machines to you?
"I would say that the professionnalism and the organization of the company are the main advantages, but also the standardization of the processes in the factory and even in the whole company, distinguishes Joskin from the others farm machinery manufacturers. The use of quality steel with high resistance is a must! Finally, I can get in touch with the factory in my language which makes it so much easier while working with an international company.”
